Les Hadden named Senior Vice President of Operations!

On behalf of the Trialon Corporation's Board of Directors and Shareholders, Patricia L. Crowder, Trialon's President/CEO is pleased to announce the promotion of Les Hadden to the position of Senior Vice President of Operations effective June 1, 2009. Les' new responsibilities will include overseeing the day-to-day operations and management of both divisions (Technical Staffing and Engineering & Test Services), including growth, development, personnel, and profitability.

Les' career with Trialon Corporation encompasses over twenty years of service along with many different positions within the corporate structure. He was originally hired in March of 1986 as a contract employee and was placed on assignment in Flint, Michigan at AC Spark Plug as a Metallurgy Technician. In 1992, Les was promoted to Project Technician at Trialon's Center Road Test Laboratory in Burton, Michigan. Shortly thereafter, he was again promoted to the position of Lead Technician.

Observing his always positive attitude and his "can do" outlook at every task that he encountered, Les was asked in 1999 if he would consider joining the Corporate Staff as an Account Manager in the Sales Division. Les accepted the challenge without hesitation. Then in January of 2000, another challenge was placed in front of him for consideration. Trialon asked if he would assume the role of Laboratory Manager at its Reliability Technical Center in Kokomo, Indiana. He and his family believed it to be a good opportunity for his career at Trialon and after careful consideration of the pros and cons moved his entire family to Kokomo without hesitation. Les' presence and leadership at the Kokomo facility proved to be very beneficial to the Corporation and resulted in a renewed work ethic, a return to professionalism and outstanding service to Trialon clients.

His talent of working with others and getting them to work tirelessly toward a common goal of customer satisfaction led to his promotion in 2003. He was named Indiana Operations Manager, responsible for Trialon's three test facilities in Indiana; the Reliability Technical Center, the FGK Validation Test Lab and the Westfield Validation Test Lab. 2006 marked Les's promotion to the position of Director of Engineering and Test Services Division, responsible for Trialon's five testing laboratories in Michigan and Indiana. Finally, in 2007 Les was promoted to Vice President of Engineering and Test Services responsible for all activities within the division.

Les continues to go above and beyond expectation in all his endeavors. His never ending enthusiasm and energy and his true heartfelt willingness to help others has made him an exemplary employee, supervisor, manager, director, vice president, and without doubt will make him a success in his position as Senior Vice President of Operations. Les's heart and values are rooted firmly in his strong commitment to work and to family. He is frequently heard saying that "close enough and good enough" are not phrases that he recognizes. Those are the core values that Les has carried with him to this day. With his belief of doing whatever it takes to get the job done right, no matter what that job may be, we are confident Les is the right person for the position.

Founded in 1982, Trialon provides test engineering and technical staffing services to clients in the automotive, aerospace, military, consumer product, pharmaceutical, medical device and telecommunications industries. Trialon is a global company serving clients in the U.S., Canada, Mexico, Europe and Asia.

Congratulations to Les Hadden, the newest member of the 20 year Service Club!

Over the past 20 years Les has held many different positions within the corporate structure, all with a positive and “can-do” attitude.

He was originally hired in March of 1986 as a contract employee and was placed on assignment in Flint, Michigan at AC Spark Plug as a Metallurgy Technician.

In 1992, Les was promoted to Project Technician at Trialon’s Center Road Test Laboratory in Burton, Michigan. Shortly thereafter, he was again promoted to the position of Lead Technician.

In 1999 when asked if he would consider joining the Corporate Staff as an Account Manager in the Sales Division, Les accepted the challenge without hesitation.

Les thrived in the corporate structure and was eager to join the ranks of management. He did so in 2000 when he was promoted to the role of Laboratory Manager the Reliability Technical Center in Kokomo, Indiana.

In light of his success with the Kokomo facility, in 2006 Les was promoted to the position of Director of Engineering and Test Services Division.

Most recently, in 2007, Les accepted the title of Vice President of the Engineering & Test Division. As with past positions, he continues to excel due to his strong leadership skills, vast knowledge of the engineering and testing business and passion for getting the job done right.

You may have noticed that although Les began his career with Trialon in 1986, he wasn’t recognized as a member of the 20 year Service Club until 2008.

For those of you that know Les, you know there is always a story to tell, and this milestone moment is no exception.

As always Les continues to go above and beyond expectation in all his endeavors and we wish him continued success with his career at Trialon Corporation.

Congratulations again on your 20 years with Trialon Corporation!

Wendi Uhrig reaches 10 Year Landmark!
Congratulations to Wendi Uhrig on reaching her ten year anniversary with Trialon Corporation. On October 26, 1998 Wendi accepted the position of Administrative Support, and quickly developed into a key member of the corporate team. Her initial responsibilities included employee orientations, testing quotations, and general administrative tasks. Never one to shy away from a challenge, Wendi infused her ingenuity and creativity into her role, and helped to shape many of our policies and procedures as we know them.

Soon after joining Trialon, Wendi completed her Associates Degree at Mott Community College in 1999, and followed that up by completing her Bachelor of Arts Degree from Davenport College in 2003. Her studies focused on Human Resources and Business Management. She accomplished all this while maintaining her full-time position with Trialon and raising her two children.

Utilizing her vast array of capabilities and experiences, Wendi has grown significantly since her arrival with the organization. She currently holds the title of Human Resource and Benefit Administrator, but that only begins to explain her role. We like to joke, “There’s no task too big, there’s no task too small, Wendi truly can do it all!”

Wendi is a valued and trusted member of our corporate staff. Her commitment and dedication is self evident, and is very much appreciated by all. Please join us in thanking her for her service, and wishing her many more years within the Trialon family.

Congratulations to Mike Potter on Reaching Ten Years with Trialon!
During the month of July, Trialon Corporation would like to congratulate Mike Potter for ten years of service. He joined Trialon Corporation in October of 1997 were he was hired as a "statement of work" employee for Delphi E&S - Instrument Clusters as their Validation Engineer. Mike provided Delphi with his expertise in testing and validation engineering for two years. During that period Mike was hired as a direct employee to Delphi were he continued his role as their validation engineer.

In October of 1999, Trialon's independent test lab opened their EVL test facility and Mike returned to Trialon as their Vibration Department Supervisor, a position that he still holds today. The vibration department started as a one man operation with one shaker and it operated in 800 sq/ft of laboratory space. Today, Mike's department has six shakers with four of them having temperature/humidity capability, plus a pneumatic "mechanical shock" machine, and the department has grown into 6,800 sq/ft. operations with three technicians to support the testing. The vibration department performs testing for consumer electronics, aerospace, recreational vehicles, automotive, and agricultural. Their motto is "if it fits on the shaker and we can run the profile…we can do the test."

Mike's work ethic has been an integral part to the success of Trialon's engineering division over the years. His professionalism shows with his strong technical skills. These skills have made him an exemplary employee which can be seen in his commitment to go above and beyond in the work that he performs everyday, and how the department has grown over the years. His consistent attention to details and commitment to excellence have greatly contributed to his and Trialon's success.

Congratulations Mike for your hard work and dedication!

Congratulations to Mark Moszyk for Ten Years of Service with Trialon!
Trialon Corporation would like to congratulate Mark Moszyk for ten years of service. Mark began his career with Trialon Corporation on April 29, 2008 as an electronic technician at an off-site laboratory dedicated to Delphi Saginaw Steering Systems' Electronic Power Steering program. 10 years ago when Mark started, he was put into a group with a brand new program with limited equipment and support. With Mark's background in electronics and machine building he was an immediate success.

Mark is currently on assignment at Steering Solutions Services Corporation (formerly Delphi Saginaw Steering Systems) supporting the same group, however his role is more in-tune with engineering support and validation testing for simulated road and vehicle conditions.

In Mark's words, "this is the longest I have stuck to anything or anywhere." Thanks for sticking it out Mark, congratulations on 10 years of service! We are looking forward to many more!

Mark Meyer Reaches Ten Years of Service with Trialon!
Trialon Corporation would like to congratulate Mark Meyer for ten years of service. He joined Trialon on April 20th, 1998 where he was hired as an EMC technician to support Delphi E&S at the Center Road Laboratory in Burton, Michigan.

Mark came to Trialon with an Associates Degree in Broadcast from Delta Community College in Saginaw, Michigan. After graduating Mark began working in the broadcasting industry for a Flint radio station - WWCK 105.5 as a Broadcast Engineer; a position that he held for 10 years. He then took his engineering skills to a Saginaw radio station - WIOG, 102.5, and then finally to Trialon. His knowledge and skill from his previous jobs in radio industry made Mark a perfect choice to supplement an already strong EMC department. These skills and knowledge have been used over the past ten years to provide both Delphi and Trialon outstanding service.

Mark’s first assignment at Trialon began at the Delphi - Center Road Laboratory as an EMC technician. He worked there for 2 years before moving down the hall to Trialon’s independent testing facility (formerly Trialon’s EVL testing facility and now as part of Trialon’s Michigan Test Engineering Center - MTEC) where he is in his current role as a Senior EMC technician.

Over the last ten years Mark has performed a variety of EMC tasks; written software, EMC troubleshooting, provided his expertise and knowledge of EMC to both clients and new technicians, performed the task of back-up EMC supervisor, and was a key component for Trialon in their quest to be AEMCLAP/CLRP certified – a quest that has been accomplished. In October of 2007 he also received his NARTE EMC certification which is recognized worldwide as a badge of excellence in the EMC community.

Mark’s work ethic has been an integral part to the success at Trialon’s EMC (EVL) lab over the years. His professionalism shows with his strong technical skills. These skills have made him an exemplary employee which can be seen in his commitment to go above and beyond in the work that he performs everyday. His consistent attention to details and commitment to excellence have greatly contributed to his and Trialon's success.

Congratulations Mark for your hard work and dedication!

Congratulations to Shanna Hughes for Achieving Ten Years of Service with Trialon Corporation!

Trialon Corporation would like to congratulate Shanna Hughes for ten years of dedicated service. Shanna began her career with Trialon Corporation on February, 16th 1998 as a Contract Lab Technician in Delphi’s IC Design & Validation Group where she was responsible for testing various automotive components. At that time Shanna held an Associates Degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Purdue University.

In December of 1999 Shanna relocated next door to our newly-opened Reliability Technical Center as an Engineering Lab Technician. Once at RTC Shanna was eager to expand her job responsibilities and did so by taking on the role as “Calibration Expert” where she was responsible for calibrating all of Trialon’s Environmental Test Chambers & Test Equipment. Always willing to learn more, in August of 2000 Shanna expanded her technical capabilities by attending an Instron training course in Boston, Massachusetts where she successfully passed and went on to become Trialon’s resident expert on the Instron and still is today. Shanna has a natural gift to mentor and has openly passed on her skills to many of our Technicians through the years. This has helped to strengthen the entire team at RTC

Even though Shanna’s platter was overflowing working full-time in the lab and raising a family, she continued to attend college in West Lafayette, Indiana in the evenings and weekends in order to attain her educational goal. This paid big dividends for Shanna and her family when in August 2002 she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Purdue University and was subsequently promoted to Sr. Engineering Lab Technician. Shanna continued in this capacity until 2006 when she was promoted to Lead Engineering Technician.

Observing her “Always” positive attitude and her willingness to do “Whatever” it takes Shanna was again promoted in January of 2007 to Engineering Supervisor and is currently in that role today. Shanna underscores the true meaning of professionalism and outstanding service to Trialon clients. Shanna knows the meaning of “Team Work” and can be seen in the lab after hours and weekends as she is always the first one to lend a hand on special projects. Shanna’s presence and leadership at RTC has proven to be very beneficial to all of the Trialon staff during her tenure. Shanna’s enthusiasm, commitment, and positive attitude are what make her an exemplary employee!

Congratulations Shanna for your hard work & dedication!
