Congratulations
to Leo Russo for Ten Years With Trialon!
Trialon Corporation
would like to extend our congratulations to Leo Russo for 10 years
of services. Leo Russo began working for Trialon on May 15, 2000
in an engineering validation support role on site at GM OnStar.
Since then, OnStar has come a long way as has Leo. He now is involved
in aspects ranging from IT testing and new development to maintenance
of testing equipment – all in addition to his original validation
support role.
Leo is an experienced team player who brings energy and enthusiasm
into the groups he supports. He is a hands-on professional with
a knack for solving difficult developments. He is a seriously hard
worker with the ability to “Ham” it up with his co-workers when
the need is there for a lighter outlook.
Please join us in congratulating and thanking Leo for his hard work
and 10 years of dedicated services.
Above, Leo Russo displays his Oak Mantle Clock, presented to him for Ten Years of loyal service to Trialon Corporation.

Shanna
Hughes Promoted to TVTC Laboratory Manager!
It’s
with great pleasure that Trialon announces the promotion of Shanna
Hughes.
On March 29th, 2010 Shanna Hughes was promoted to the Laboratory
Manager at Trialon’s Validation Technical Center (TVTC)
located in Kokomo, IN. The Trialon Validation Technical Center
is a joint venture between Delphi and Trialon and is responsible
for validating Delphi’s ‘Passenger Occupancy Detection
System’ (PODs).
Shanna started her career with Trialon in February of 1998. She
was hired as an Environmental Test Technician at Trialon’s
FGK test facility Kokomo, IN. After several years as a technician
she was promoted to Lead Technician and then to the Engineering
Supervisor at the Trialon Reliability Test Center (RTC) in Kokomo,
IN. Her responsibilities have been vast; backup for our administrative
assistant, test technician, engineer, designer, supervisor, and
quality auditor. These skills make her a very important intellectual
commodity to Trialon.
Shanna arrived at Trialon with an Associate Degree in Mechanical
Engineering Technology from Purdue University; with commitment
and dedication she returned to Purdue and completed her Bachelor
of Science Degree in 2002.
Shanna’s dedication, commitment, and work ethics are the
core values that make her an outstanding employee, and one that
Trialon is glad to have.

Wins Contract Manufacturing Labor for Delphi’s New Electric
Vehicle Component Manufacturing Facility in Kokomo, IN!
Delphi
officials are moving ahead on a new electric vehicle component
manufacturing facility in Kokomo, in part thanks to a $50 million
local tax abatement passed Monday.
Delphi officials at Monday’s Kokomo Common Council meeting said
the new facility on Morgan Street will operate like a new business
startup, rather than as a new division of the worldwide components
manufacturer.
“This is a new product and a new technology. It’s like starting
up a new company,” said Kevin Clancy, general director of human
resources.
In the short term, that will mean keeping production costs low.
Engineers at the electric vehicle component operation will “be
a mix, like we’ve always done,” Clancy said, referring to the
blend of in-house and outsourced engineering staff at the Delphi
Electronics and Safety headquarters.
The “techs,” those who will build the newly designed components,
will be hired through Trialon, a human resources outsourcing firm.
Techs will make between $10 and $12 an hour, with benefits through
Trialon, Clancy said.
Work is already under way at the former WIS Sheet Metal building,
1501 E. 200 South (Morgan Street), according to Lisa Hardwick,
plant manager.
“We’re in debugging mode right now. We’re debugging all of the
machinery as it’s brought in, and we have vendors in retrofitting
the building,” she said.
Operations should start in the third quarter, she said, with full
production volume arriving in 2013 or 2014.
According to a statement of benefits submitted to the city of
Kokomo, Delphi plans to add 118 new jobs and retain 72 jobs through
the new operation, which will also utilize space at the current
Delphi location on Lincoln Road.
In return, the city council agreed to a five-year personal property
tax abatement on up to $50 million in new machinery needed for
the operation.
Last year, Delphi received an $89.3 million U.S. Department of
Energy grant to produce electric-hybrid technology in Kokomo.
Delphi is matching the grant — up to $178.6 million — representing
a three-year investment to advance the development of low-cost
manufacturing of electric-drive vehicles in the U.S.
Last year, when President Barack Obama announced the grant, he
specifically said the money would be spent on operations in Kokomo.
City officials, however, said Monday the location of the project
was in doubt for some time.
Monday, Clancy acknowledged previous concerns the facility might
not locate in Kokomo.
“When we found out about being selected for the award last August,
Delphi expected to own the plant on Lincoln Road,” Clancy said.
“Under the Delphi bankruptcy agreement, GM acquired that site,
so therefore Delphi needed to find another manufacturing site.”
Clancy credited state and city officials for the final location
of the facility.
“The quick response by the Indiana Economic Development Corp.
and the city of Kokomo was a critical reason why Kokomo was chosen
for the site,” he said.

Working With HiredOnTheSpot.com at Career Expo!
FOX 2 news has
uncovered a new development on the job front. This could be the
beginning of what we have been waiting to see -- the end of the
nightmare for many.
They had to open the doors early there were so many people at this
career expo, but for the first time we've witnessed something we
haven't seen before at any of the job fairs in which we've participated.
Companies now looking for workers that tell us they just got the
word that they can hire.
"As we were sitting here at the job fair, my phone rang and it was
my client asking for five more people. So, we're so excited," said
Lisa Crawford with Diversified Industrial Staffing. They supply
engineering and construction companies.
Their story is not an isolated incident.
"The recovery is starting right now, and we're seeing our suppliers
calling us saying we need immediate needs right now in the automotive
sector. We need needs in the defense sector. So, they're calling
us, and we are hiring people from production workers to engineering
managers," said Matthew Karrandja with Trialon.
So, what's happening out there? Robert Garcia at Gonzales Design
says that the ripple effect is now heading positive.
"They're building more cars now and it's trickling down to our large,
tier one suppliers," said Garcia. "They're finally contacting us
and they're creating jobs now because we see that things are getting
a little bit better, and they want to hire contract people versus
direct hires."
However, there are jobs for direct hires and they're opening up
at Chrysler.
"We are looking for business unit leaders within metro Detroit...
We have a variety of positions open on our Chrysler Careers Web
site," said Kris Philips with Chrysler.
Let's hope this is a trend.
The job expo was sponsored by the Orion Township Chamber of Commerce,
UAW Local 5960 Retirees and HiredOnTheSpot.com.
Congratulations
to Cheryl Leggewie, Trialon's Newest 5 Year Member!
Cheryl's employment
with Trialon began when her sister Angie, a former Trialon employee,
made the decision to relocate to Georgia. Angie recommend Cheryl
to fill her position and the rest is history.
Cheryl performs numerous tasks in the corporate office. She greets
clients by phone and in person as if they were her life long friends,
makes sure packages are shipped and received as requested and most
importantly she is instrumental in processing our weekly payroll.
Over the past 5 years Cheryl has become a vital part of the Corporate
Office. The nameplate on her desk reads "Director of First Impressions"
and a great one she is!

Congratulations
to John Krug, the Newest Member of the 20 Year Service Club!
John
began his career with Trialon Corporation on October 16th, 1989
as a Maintenance Technician in the Facilities Department where
he worked for 5 years. John was responsible for the routine and
non-routine maintenance of the entire facility, lawn & grounds,
environmental test chambers, vibration shakers, and test equipment
located at the Center Road Test Laboratory in Burton, Michigan.
In 1995, John was offered the position of Electronics Technician
in the Product Reliability Group at Trialon’s Center Road
Test Laboratory where he joined without hesitation. John’s
strong desire to put in “long hours” and do “whatever
it takes” attitude proved beneficial for the entire department.
Often less-experienced Technicians would seek Technical advice
from John and looked to him as their mentor. That paid big dividends
for John as shortly thereafter, he was promoted to the position
of Lead Technician and appointed Safety Coordinator for the entire
complex.
In 1998 after spending nearly three years in the Product Reliability
Group, John re-joined his old Teammates in the Facilities Department
and was promoted to Lead Facilities Maintenance Technician. Once
again John’s electrical, mechanical, refrigeration, and
engineering knowledge was shared with his entire maintenance staff
and the fruits of his labor can even be seen today in the polished
skill sets of the staff that directly reports to him.
Promoted again in October of 2004 John joined our Corporate Staff
as the Facilities Coordinator responsible for all five of Trialon
Corporation’s Test Labs in Michigan & Indiana, the Corporate
Office Complex in Burton, Michigan and Technical Staffing Division
Building in Troy, Michigan. Finally in 2006 John was promoted
to Corporate Properties & Building Systems Manager. During
this time John has continued to expand our maintenance and calibration
services and hire additional staff to meet the needs of our clients!
John is always in early in the morning, preparing the complex
for business, and sets the tone for the entire day. He can often
be seen at one of our locations on the weekends and evenings checking
the facility and making sure all is well. John spends a great
deal of time on the road as he travels back and forth between
the Corporate Office in Burton, Michigan; Fenton Road Lab in Grand
Blanc, Michigan; MTEC (Michigan Test Engineering Center) in Burton,
Michigan; Technical Staffing Division in Troy, Michigan; Reliability
Technical Center in Kokomo, Indiana; and Validation Technical
Center in Kokomo, Indiana.
John “always” puts his best-foot-forward and continues
to raise the bar in everything he does. His attention to detail,
vast knowledge, never ending energy and equally positive attitude
has made him an “outstanding” Employee, Team Leader,
Coordinator, Supervisor, and without doubt will make him a success
in his new role as Corporate Properties and Building Systems Manager.
With his belief of doing whatever it takes to get the job done
right, no matter what that job may be, we are confident John will
be a huge success and continue to make us proud.
Congratulations again on your 20 years with Trialon Corporation!

Les
Hadden named Senior Vice President of Operations!
On
behalf of the Trialon Corporation's Board of Directors and Shareholders,
Patricia L. Crowder, Trialon's President/CEO is pleased to announce
the promotion of Les Hadden to the position of Senior Vice President
of Operations effective June 1, 2009. Les' new responsibilities
will include overseeing the day-to-day operations and management
of both divisions (Technical Staffing
and Engineering & Test Services),
including growth, development, personnel, and profitability.
Les' career with Trialon Corporation encompasses over twenty years
of service along with many different positions within the corporate
structure. He was originally hired in March of 1986 as a contract
employee and was placed on assignment in Flint, Michigan at AC
Spark Plug as a Metallurgy Technician. In 1992, Les was promoted
to Project Technician at Trialon's Center Road Test Laboratory
in Burton, Michigan. Shortly thereafter, he was again promoted
to the position of Lead Technician.
Observing his always positive attitude and his "can do" outlook
at every task that he encountered, Les was asked in 1999 if he
would consider joining the Corporate Staff as an Account Manager
in the Sales Division. Les accepted the challenge without hesitation.
Then in January of 2000, another challenge was placed in front
of him for consideration. Trialon asked if he would assume the
role of Laboratory Manager at its Reliability Technical Center
in Kokomo, Indiana. He and his family believed it to be a good
opportunity for his career at Trialon and after careful consideration
of the pros and cons moved his entire family to Kokomo without
hesitation. Les' presence and leadership at the Kokomo facility
proved to be very beneficial to the Corporation and resulted in
a renewed work ethic, a return to professionalism and outstanding
service to Trialon clients.
His talent of working with others and getting them to work tirelessly
toward a common goal of customer satisfaction led to his promotion
in 2003. He was named Indiana Operations Manager, responsible
for Trialon's three test facilities in Indiana; the Reliability
Technical Center, the FGK Validation Test Lab and the Westfield
Validation Test Lab. 2006 marked Les's promotion to the position
of Director of Engineering and Test Services Division, responsible
for Trialon's five testing laboratories in Michigan and Indiana.
Finally, in 2007 Les was promoted to Vice President of Engineering
and Test Services responsible for all activities within the division.
Les continues to go above and beyond expectation in all his endeavors.
His never ending enthusiasm and energy and his true heartfelt
willingness to help others has made him an exemplary employee,
supervisor, manager, director, vice president, and without doubt
will make him a success in his position as Senior Vice President
of Operations. Les's heart and values are rooted firmly in his
strong commitment to work and to family. He is frequently heard
saying that "close enough and good enough" are not phrases that
he recognizes. Those are the core values that Les has carried
with him to this day. With his belief of doing whatever it takes
to get the job done right, no matter what that job may be, we
are confident Les is the right person for the position.
