Congratulations to Matt Potter on His Fifth Anniversary with Trialon!
Trialon Corporation
would like to congratulate Matt Potter for five years of continued
service. Matt began his career with Trialon Corporation on February
17, 2003 when he was hired as a Vibration Technician at our EVL
laboratory in Burton, Michigan. Since that time Matt has transitioned
into our Michigan Test Engineering Center (MTEC) in Burton, Michigan
where he works as Senior Vibration Technician and is also responsible
for the day-to-day activities within the Vibration Department during
the Supervisor’s absence.
Matt holds
a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electronic Engineering Technology
from DeVry University in Chicago, Illinois. Matt gained a tremendous
amount of experience in the field of Electronic Semiconductors
when he was a Service Representative for ASML a semiconductor
equipment manufacturing company and when he worked as Equipment
Service Manager for Nortel in Ottawa, Ontario. Matt continued
to gain Technical experience when he worked as the PPAP Coordinator
for MacArthur Corporation which manufactured Labels in Grand Blanc,
Michigan. Matt was responsible for their product testing, submission
of PPAP documentation, and quality for their testing department.
These previous jobs have provided Matt with a wealth of knowledge
& experience that has enabled him to provide exceptional service
to our clients.
Matt has a
proven track record for design & building test fixtures, programming
test controllers, interfacing with client’s test equipment
and software, as well as mentoring those he works with. He is
highly regarded as one of the best in the business!
Flexibility
is no problem for Matt. In fact, he can be seen working long hours,
odd shifts, weekends, etc; and this continued commitment to doing
“whatever it takes” for the customer has enabled our
Vibration Department to offer 24/7 operation for all of Trialon
Corporation’s clients.
Additionally,
this type of flexibility has aided in the department’s ability
to process work quickly, and consequently has played an integral
part of the substantial growth experienced within the vibration
department over the last five years. Matt’s consistent attention
to detail and commitment to excellence have greatly contributed
to his and Trialon's continued success.
Congratulations Matt for your hard work and dedication!

Congratulations
to Shanna Hughes for Achieving Ten Years of Service with Trialon
Corporation! Trialon
Corporation would like to congratulate Shanna Hughes for ten years
of dedicated service. Shanna began her career with Trialon Corporation
on February, 16th 1998 as a Contract Lab Technician in Delphi’s
IC Design & Validation Group where she was responsible for testing
various automotive components. At that time Shanna held an Associates
Degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Purdue University.
In December of 1999 Shanna relocated next door to our newly-opened
Reliability Technical Center as an Engineering Lab Technician. Once
at RTC Shanna was eager to expand her job responsibilities and did
so by taking on the role as “Calibration Expert” where
she was responsible for calibrating all of Trialon’s Environmental
Test Chambers & Test Equipment. Always willing to learn more,
in August of 2000 Shanna expanded her technical capabilities by
attending an Instron training course in Boston, Massachusetts where
she successfully passed and went on to become Trialon’s resident
expert on the Instron and still is today. Shanna has a natural gift
to mentor and has openly passed on her skills to many of our Technicians
through the years. This has helped to strengthen the entire team
at RTC
Even though Shanna’s platter was overflowing working full-time
in the lab and raising a family, she continued to attend college
in West Lafayette, Indiana in the evenings and weekends in order
to attain her educational goal. This paid big dividends for Shanna
and her family when in August 2002 she received her Bachelor’s
Degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Purdue University
and was subsequently promoted to Sr. Engineering Lab Technician.
Shanna continued in this capacity until 2006 when she was promoted
to Lead Engineering Technician.
Observing her “Always” positive attitude and her willingness
to do “Whatever” it takes Shanna was again promoted
in January of 2007 to Engineering Supervisor and is currently in
that role today. Shanna underscores the true meaning of professionalism
and outstanding service to Trialon clients. Shanna knows the meaning
of “Team Work” and can be seen in the lab after hours
and weekends as she is always the first one to lend a hand on special
projects. Shanna’s presence and leadership at RTC has proven
to be very beneficial to all of the Trialon staff during her tenure.
Shanna’s enthusiasm, commitment, and positive attitude are
what make her an exemplary employee!
Congratulations Shanna for your hard work & dedication!

Congratulations
to Nathan King on Reaching Five Years with Trialon!
Congratulations
to Nathan King as he celebrates his 5th year anniversary as an Engineer
with Trialon Corporation. Nathan is currently the Lead Calibration
Engineer at Trialon's Validation Technical Center in Kokomo, Indiana.
Nathan has also worked at Trialon's Reliability Technical Center
in Kokomo, Indiana, and at Trialon's Validation Test Lab in Westfield,
Indiana.
He has been very instrumental streamlining the Temperature Compensation
process of Delphi's Passive Occupant Detection Systems. From the
time the test begins to the time that the data is analyzed and submitted
to the project management team, Nathan can be found leading the
way to a smooth process flow. An integral part of that flow is the
Pods Data Analysis Tool, a software program that Nathan developed.
Among his other accomplishments, Nathan has long been regarded as
the team leader for Pods Temp Comp Calibration. When customers have
questions about this branch of our testing services, Nathan continues
to be the "Go To" guy. As his customers will attest, when Nathan
is overseeing a project, there is no doubt that he will deliver
quality results that are always on time and within budget.
Congratulations again, Nathan for a job well done and your continued
dedicated service to Trialon Corporation!

Trialon's
Staff Opens Their Hearts to Those Less Fortunate
Trialon
Corporation has always prided itself as a company with outstanding
employees who go above and beyond to do whatever it takes to get
the job done. Our employees have shown time and time again that
this quality is not just a standard they adhere to in the work
they do, but for helping others as well.
Similar to years past, Trialon has sponsored a Coats & Canned
Goods Charity Drive for the 2007 holiday season. And once again,
employees from Trialon's Corporate Office, Technical Staffing
Division, and Engineering Division have come through with flying
colors to show their generosity. Trialon Staff donated countless
items of non-perishable grocery items, from canned fruits, vegetables,
and juices, to pastas, cereals, and rice, to cleaning and office
supplies. In addition to the food, many coats, blankets, hats,
gloves, and other articles of clothing were collected.
Each employee at the company receives a holiday ham to share with
his/her family. As in prior years, leftover hams purchased by
Trialon have been donated to Carriage Town Ministries in Flint,
Michigan. This year, the goods collected by Trialon’s Michigan
employees have been donated to Carriage Town Ministries of Flint
and the Shelter of Flint.
Employees from Trialon’s Indiana facilities helped Howard
County’s 3,700 people in need by donating to Coordinated
Assisted Ministries (CAM). Items donated included clothing, coats,
food, bicycles, and of course, toys.
On behalf of the entire team at Trialon Corporation, we would
like to extend our wishes for a Happy Holiday season, and a safe
and prosperous New Year!

Dave
Jackson Reaches 5-Year Milestone!
We would like
to congratulate Dave Jackson on his 5th year anniversary as a
Trialon Corporation employee. Dave began his career at Trialon’s
Reliability Technical Center on October 11th 2002 where he worked
as a PODS Technician. After a short leave of absence Dave came
back to Trialon and has never looked back! Dave is a great asset
to our operations and works at Trialon’s Validation Technical
Center in Kokomo, Indiana. His "Can Do" attitude has
earned him favored status with several of our customers. They
talk about his attention to detail and dedication to doing the
job right the first time. For these reasons, many customers request
Dave specifically to perform testing for them.
Dave has a great knack for recognizing potential roadblocks, that
can slow down or stop testing progress, and solving these issues.
For example, he has used his skills with metal and woodworking
to build special fixtures for projects. There have been times
when it seemed as though several tests would be delayed or even
halted because fixtures were needed. Dave has stepped up "Big
Time" in these situations and has built many fixtures himself.
He just makes it happen. He always goes the extra mile to ensure
that our customers are satisfied.
Congratulations Dave for your hard work & dedication!

with pride. Mike’s eagerness to do “whatever”
it takes and go the extra mile was evident as he could be seen in
the lab most weeknights and weekends taking care of business.
In 2002 Mike volunteered to expand his job responsibilities even
further by working closely with Delphi’s PODS organization
(Passive Occupancy Detection System) to develop a calibration procedure

disposition and the experience he gained while on contract at Delphi’s
PODS organization, we are confident Marty will be a huge success

United
Way 2008 Campaign
That time
of year has come and gone again already. No, not the changing
of the seasons…we’re talking about Trialon Corporation’s
annual United Way Campaign. Year after year, most of the management
and employees of Trialon Corporation put up little fuss while
donating a portion of their paycheck to a worthy cause. Trialon
was chosen again to be one of the United Way’s “Pace
Setter” organizations.
As a “Pace
Setter,” we begin our donation drive ahead of other businesses
in the community so they will have a goal to strive toward. This
year was no exception to our history of “raising the bar.”
The 2008 campaign showed an increase in participation of 5%; up
to 87% from last year’s 82% participation rate! The majority
of our employees take advantage of the convenient payroll deduction
plan, but some prefer to give cash, checks, credit card billing,
or direct billing. None of this could be accomplished without
the wonderful people who work at Trialon Corporation and the way
they continually open their hearts and their wallets to lend a
helping hand to those in need.
Our employee
participation rate was not the only thing that increased…so
did the total amount of our pledges. We were able to raise an
incredible $23,065.40, nearly $2,500 more than last year’s
total! That amount of money will definitely go a long way to help
with the many United Way programs that are supported through the
donations of those that live and work in the community. Thank
you to all of the Trialon employees who realize that there is
always someone who needs that little extra support to get back
on their feet, and thank you to the United Way! For more information
on how you can help, please visit http://www.unitedwaygenesee.org.
The Management
of Trialon Corporation would like to recognize two employees who
won prizes for participating in the donation drive. Jeff Gorton
received a Trialon jacket, and Elton Rudolph received a $25 gift
card from Applebee’s.
